Event Details

Join us on Tuesday, October 1, at 10 AM ET, for a live briefing on the vital support provided by the CAM Philanthropy Fund to Israeli communities in need.

The Hamas attack on Israeli communities on October 7th profoundly shocked Israeli society. Millions of Israelis have since faced immense challenges — grappling with grief, destruction, and trauma — while also enduring ongoing difficulties amid intense fighting in Gaza and the north. This attack followed rising tensions with Hezbollah, which has increasingly launched assaults from Lebanon, heightening the danger along Israel’s northern border, further straining the country’s defenses and resources.

In response to the crisis, CAM initiated a targeted fundraising campaign to strengthen and support the ongoing needs of communities in Israel. At the onset of the “Iron Swords” war, the philanthropic arm of CAM worked swiftly to identify communities, organizations and people in need of immediate assistance, focusing on those directly supporting citizens and strengthening community resilience.

Over the past year, with the steadfast support and solidarity of donors and activists committed to making a difference, CAM distributed $4 million to over 60 organizations, people and communities. These funds have enabled vital projects and initiatives including mental care, physical reparations, and community resilience to help these communities recover, rebuild, and adapt to the harsh realities of war.

Many of you have generously contributed to this fund, making a significant difference in the lives of many. To provide a clearer understanding of the impact of your efforts, we want to share the stories of those who have benefited from these funds. Our team has collaborated closely with each project to ensure the effective use and distribution of the resources. We invite you to join us for the webinar to hear these inspiring stories, and there will also be an opportunity for live donations to continue supporting these and other essential communities in need.

These powerful stories remind us that, even in the darkest times, we can make a meaningful impact — helping to heal and restore, thanks to your unwavering support and solidarity.
