In recent weeks, we observed a crisis in Sweden challenging freedom of religion and belief. Alarming calls to burn the sacred texts of the Abrahamic faiths were made. A Quran was destroyed and there were threats to do the same to other holy books. We stand united in solidarity against such provocative acts.
We, Jews and Muslims together, oppose this bigotry and will not stay silent as revered religious objects are desecrated.
