You’re invited to Where Stories Meet: A Celebration of Heritage & Hope, an intimate forum bringing together leaders, artists, educators, and creatives from Chicago’s African American and Jewish communities for joint artistic expression, storytelling, and connection.
Created to honor Juneteenth, Jewish American Heritage Month (JAHM), and America’s 250th Independence Day, the event centers on a guided art workshop led collaboratively by Black and Jewish teaching artists. They will explore common themes of resilience, migration, faith, and the pursuit of freedom and belonging. The experience will also help build awareness around combating antisemitism and racism.
The event will close with a debrief conversation over a shared meal, reflecting on identity and connection.
