Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) President of U.S. Affairs Alyza D. Lewin issued the following statement on Wednesday welcoming the Department of Justice’s announcement of the seizure of more than $560,000 in cryptocurrency donations destined for Hamas:

“We commend the Justice Department for this significant step in the fight against terrorism. In its nearly four decades of existence, Hamas, a Muslim Brotherhood offshoot, has murdered dozens of American citizens, including 46 in the October 7th massacre. Disrupting its fundraising and recruitment mechanisms is critical to safeguarding U.S. national security, and we urge the Trump administration to keep up the pressure on Hamas until its ability to threaten regional peace and stability in the Middle East is eliminated.”
