This week we ask you to take action by educating yourself about the new proposed public-school curriculum in California that was featured in this week’s campus section. The California Legislative Jewish Caucasus has written to the California Department of Education saying that “It would be a cruel irony if a curriculum meant to help alleviate prejudice and bigotry were to instead marginalize Jewish students and fuel hatred and discrimination against the Jewish community. Without significant edits, the [curriculum] will do just that.” The proposed curriculum is currently open for public comment. Help raise awareness about the issue by sharing this information and the resources below within your community.
