A Jewish man and his son were seriously wounded when they were stabbed with a box cutter outside a synagogue in Brooklyn by three men who were drinking outside the synagogue. Read Here

Hateful messages were scrawled on the beach in Belle Harbor Queens including swastikas and expletives directed towards Jews. Others had clear references to white supremacists, including “White pride” and another message said “14/88”. Read Here

The historic Fort Revere Park in Hull, Massachusetts was painted with anti-Semitic graffiti on the walls of the fort, including swastikas, messages advocating violence against Jews, the slogan “Hitler 2020” and stickers depicting Anne Frank painted over in red. Read Here

On the first day of the new school year at Needham High School, a student found a swastika scratched into a bathroom stall. The graffiti was documented by administration and resource officers and removed. The Principal said “hate like this has no place at Needham High School.” Read Here

An advertisement that many, including the Republican Jewish Coalition, deemed anti-Semitic will be re-aired by the Rockland County GOP. The video, titled “A Storm Is Coming,” blames Chassidic Jews for housing overdevelopment in what is the southernmost county west of the Hudson River. Read Here

The annual Burning Man festival presented an exhibit featuring naked dolls being led into ovens at a simulated death camp. The “Barbie Death Camp and Wine Bistro” has led to widespread outrage at what many see as the trivialization of the Holocaust. Read Here

An aide at the U.S. Department of Labor, Leif Olson, who had resigned after a Facebook post that appeared to be anti-Semitic was uncovered, has been reinstated. The Facebook post under fire “was sarcastic criticism of the alt-right’s conspiracy theories and anti-Semitic positions.” Read Here

Political activist Linda Sarsour has been named a surrogate for Bernie Sander’s presidential campaign. Sarsour is a supporter of BDS and co-founder of the Women’s March, which lost the support of some Jewish women after she was accused of allowing anti-Semitism to pervade the movement. Read Here

The iconic Cathedral Basilica of Saint Joseph in downtown San Jose was vandalized with spray-painted anti-Semitic and Satanic messages. Read Here

Florida authorities arrested Leo Arong Jr after he allegedly threatened to “murder as many people as I can” in an online post accompanied by anti- Semitic messaging. Read Here

Posts expressing support for Bowers appeared on 4chan including an image of Bowers with the text: “Donald Trump reinstated the death penalty and guess what? His justice department is seeking the death penalty for Bowers. He’ll put any white person on death row if they go against the Jews.” Read Here

Swastikas were found on a dozen homes in San Pedro. Police are looking for a 6’2” white male and are investigating the matter as a hate crime. Read Here

Jewish groups signed a letter to the chancellor of California State University that demands answers about a professor’s continued use of the school’s name to spread anti-Semitism and false propaganda against the State of Israel. The posting asks readers to donate funds for Professor Rabab Abdulhadi’s personal lawsuit against SFSU and to fight the “Israel Lobby.” Read Here

Bristol University is not taking action against a professor for teaching students that “parts of the Zionist lobby” are bankrolling hatred of Muslims. The lecture by sociology professor David Miller, prompted concerns from Jewish students, who felt “uncomfortable and intimidated.” Read Here

The Burlingame Police Department is investigating anti-Semitic graffiti found on the walls of Burlingame High School. Vandals used black spray paint to create “anti-Semitic and bigoted symbols and phrases,” including swastikas and racial slurs. Read Here

Brandeis and Yeshiva universities have contacted the FBI after hundreds of pictures of staff and students were posted on a white nationalist website calling for the ‘extermination of Jews.’ The forum is operated by Alex Linder, a prominent white nationalist who frequently posts anti-Semitic remarks. In response to a public-records request submitted by CAMERA in relation to a biased anti-Israel conference, officials at UMASS have declared that the documents in question will be chosen and redacted by Communications Professior Sut Jhally, the person whose work at UMASS is under analysis. Despite YouTube’s crackdown on hate speech, there remains a vast reservoir of bigoted invective and extremism on the platform. Much of the same hateful content remains. More than half of the hate crimes in New York City through September 1 of this year have been anti-Semitic. Anti-Semitic hate crimes in NYC are up 63% in 2019. So far there have been 152 reports of anti-Semitic hate crimes, while last year there were only 93 incidents reported in the same period. Read Here

A recent study showed that Palestinian teachers’ guides promote an attitude towards the “other” based on delegitimization, demonization and war indoctrination instead of peace education. Jewish “cowardice,” “slyness,” “deceit” and “greed” are repeated ideas in teachers’ guides used to define Jews as enemies of Islam and a corrupt nation. Elan Carr called on Ocean County officials to condemn hateful speech against Jews. “If somebody can express themselves that way and no one says anything, it normalizes it and then hate is going to turn to vandalism, vandalism will turn to street assault, and street assault will turn to Pittsburg, G-d forbid. Jewish leaders warmly welcomed new office in New York City to combat the rising tide of anti-Semitic hate crimes. Mayor de Blasio announced the executive director of the new office, Deborah Lauter. At her first press conference, Lauter seemed to correct de Blasio’s claim that anti-Semitism was a right-wing movement only. “He’s correct to say there are threats that come from the right. There are also threats that come from the left.”. Read Here

City Hall announced the appointment of Deborah Lauter as head of the new Office for the Prevention of Hate Crimes. Lauter plans to focus on educating kids against hate and will coordinate with 10 agencies, from police to mental health programs, that are tasked with addressing hate. Read Here

Labour MP John Mann resigned from Parliament in protest at Jeremy Corbyn’s failure to tackle anti-Semitism within the party. Mr. Mann opted to take up a full-time role as the government’s anti-Semitism tsar. Mr. Mann said the growth in anti-Semitic activity has “without question been running in tandem with Corbyn’s lack of leadership” and stressed that the new role would allow him to devote his full attention to issues of anti-Jewish racism. US Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell demanded the Germany ban Hezbollah in its entirety, saying that the Lebanese organization sponsors terrorism and anti-Semitism. Grenell said a complete ban would be a strong sign that Germany does not tolerate anti-Semitic hate in Europe. Read Here

Poland’s ministry of foreign affairs condemned an attack against a group of Israeli students at a Warsaw nightclub. “Poland MFA strongly condemns acts of aggression committed by foreigners in Poland. We oppose any forms of violence!” tweeted the Polish foreign ministry. Read Here

Employees of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette donated to the Tree of Life synagogue the $15,000 they won for their Pulitzer Prize for their coverage of the deadly anti-Semitic shooting there to help repair its bullet-riddled temple in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood. Read Here

When Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf visits Holocaust memorials in Lithuania and Poland, he will carry the mezuzah that was on the office door of Rabbi Jeffrey Myers when a gunman burst into Pittsburgh’s Tree of Life synagogue last year and killed 11 people. Read Here

Football chiefs will speak at an international symposium aimed at tackling anti-Semitism in sport in New York. Chelsea Football Club chairman Bruce Buck and New York Giants vice-president Don Sperling will be keynote speakers at the symposium, presented in conjunction with Chelsea and New England Revolution’s ‘Final Whistle on Hate’ campaign. Dutch Christian Zionists donated Europe’s largest Hanukkah menorah to the Israeli city of Sderot in solidarity with its residents’ plight over rocket attacks from Gaza. The 36-foot menorah was erected in Sderot and boasts a 6-ton base and a frame shaped like a Star of David. Read Here

Iranian judo star Saeid Mollaei, who fled Iran after criticizing it for pressuring him to throw matches to avoid competing against an Israel, has congratulated the Israeli on winning a gold medal. The social media exchange came after Mollaei fled to Berlin. Read Here

The Israel-based humanitarian group IsraAID, B’nai B’rith International and Chabad are pitching in to help the Bahamas in the wake of Hurricane Dorian. Anti-Semitism is once again on the rise, just 75 years after the Holocaust. This irrational hatred of Jews and the world’s only Jewish state harms both innocent victims and perpetrators infected by bigotry. The resurgence of anti-Semitism poses a challenge to all people of conscience:
