Harvard Task Force Report Shows ‘Antisemitism Has Deeply Permeated Campus Culture’

Following Harvard University’s response on Tuesday to its own task force report detailing widespread antisemitism on campus, Eliana Goodman, Director of Public Policy at the Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM), issued the following statement:

“The Harvard antisemitism task force findings confirm what many Jewish students, faculty, and alumni have long known: that antisemitism has deeply permeated campus culture, often masked as academic or political discourse. While we applaud the steps Harvard is now promising to take, this is only due to significant outside pressure, including bold and decisive action from President Trump and his administration.”

“The report’s revelations, from students feeling unsafe to faculty perpetuating biased narratives, underscore the urgent need for structural reforms and stronger safeguards for Jewish students. This moment is a vindication of our persistent advocacy and a clear signal to other universities: ignoring antisemitism has consequences. We will continue to hold institutions accountable and push for meaningful change.”
