Holocaust Survivor Walter Bingham Shares Firsthand Kristallnacht Experience
When Walter Bingham was eight, he was a witness to Kristallnacht, the infamous “Night of Broken Glass,” when synagogues across Germany, including his hometown of Karlsruhe, were burned to the ground.
With his own eyes, Walter saw the buildup of senseless hatred that led to the worst crime in human history, the Holocaust, as well as the other horrors of the Second World War.
