From January 1 to March 31, 2026, a total of 1,739 incidents were documented, 10.6% greater than the 1,572 incidents tallied in the same period in 2025, and 16.2% more than the 1,497 incidents recorded in the same period in 2024.

152 of the 767 (19.8%) incidents recorded in March were inspired by Islamist ideology, a 5.5 percentage-point increase from March 2025 (83 of 579, or 14.3%).
In part fueling this surge were pro-Iranian elements around the world, activated by the regional war in the Middle East. In the immediate aftermath of the outbreak of the conflict, the ARC monitored a 34% increase in antisemitic incidents compared with the previous week before the war commenced.
Of the 154 antisemitic incidents documented during the week following the launch of the U.S.-Israel military operation against the Tehran regime, 73 — nearly 50% — were motivated by the war.
474 of the 767 incidents (61.8%) recorded in March involved Israel-related antisemitism, reflecting the persistent trend of anti-Zionist rhetoric and attacks directed at Jewish individuals and institutions.

There were 51 acts of vandalism (6.7%) in March targeting Jewish institutions and private properties with Nazi swastikas or other antisemitic symbols or threats.
53 incidents (6.9%) in March involved violence or threats of violence, including physical assaults, bomb threats, and other explicit attempts to intimidate or harm Jewish individuals or communities, with the Hezbollah-inspired attack on a Michigan synagogue most prominent among them.
This marked a stark 165% increase compared with the 20 incidents involving violence or threats of violence documented in February.
Not only did antisemitic violence skyrocket in March, but the number of Jewish institutions or sites targeted in incidents of all types was 34.8% higher than in February, including a series of explosions at synagogues in England, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

In March, Western Europe saw the highest number of antisemitic incidents of any geographic region with 306, followed by the United States (221). Australia (46), Scandinavia (44), and Canada (35).
Worldwide, there were 128 acts of antisemitism on college and university campuses in March targeting Jewish students and institutions.
57.5% of the incidents the ARC recorded in March were linked to Far-Left ideology, followed by the Islamist-Inspired (19.8%) and Far-Right (10.2%) categories, as well as Unattributable (12.5%).
