CAIR Books Ana Kasparian, Who Called Israelis the ‘New Nazis,’ as Keynote Speaker for Two Galas

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has booked Ana Kasparian, the co-host of The Young Turks who has called Israelis “the new Nazis” as a keynote speaker for two upcoming galas.

The 40-year-old Kasparian is scheduled to speak at the 30th Annual Gala of CAIR’s Los Angeles chapter (CAIR-LA) on October 3 at the Anaheim Marriott and headline a CAIR-Texas gala at the Serene Event Center in Dallas on October 23.

The invitations follow Kasparian’s September 20 keynote appearance at CAIR-Chicago’s 23rd Annual Banquet, documented in the chapter’s event announcement and recap.

Kasparian’s extremist rhetoric portrays the United States as a country under Israeli “occupation,” with American politicians purportedly serving a foreign master. Her calls to end “Israel’s occupation of the U.S. government” echoes the premise of “Zionist Occupied Government” (ZOG), a white supremacist conspiracy theory that falsely depicts Washington as controlled by Jews. Kasparian recasts that theory in the language of American patriotism, treating support for Israel as evidence of disloyalty.

CAIR has also given headliner speaking roles in the past to Cenk Uygur, Kasparian’s longtime The Young Turks co-host. As the Combat Antisemitism Movement’s Antisemitism Research Center (ARC) reported last month, Uygur has promoted similar antisemitic narratives, asserting, “It is not antisemitic to say Israel controls Congress.”

CAM CEO Sacha Roytman said, “CAIR always denies it is antisemitic, yet the clearest evidence of this lie is that it regularly offers a prominent platform to some of the leading propagators of Jew-hatred in America today. Given CAIR’s own long record of inciting antisemitic hostility and violence, it really should come as no surprise that Kasparian and Ugyur feel right at home on its stage.”

Claims That Israel ‘Occupies’ America

In an August 8, 2025, X post, Kasparian defiantly doubled down on her conspiracy claims.

The next day, she accused Israel of using American funding and weapons to “slaughter innocent people and steal land.”

On February 4, 2026, post, Kasparian accused nearly every U.S. politician of complicity in Israel’s supposed “occupation” of America.

On September 17, 2026, Kasparian cast “Zionists” as a hostile force using wealth and power to “divide and conquer” Americans.

Israelis Compared to Nazis

On July 31, 2025, she addressed X users who displayed Israel’s flag on their profiles.

On June 20, 2026, Kasparian hailed “the resistance,” a euphemism for anti-Israel terrorist groups, and profanely slurred the Jewish state.

On the same day, she replied separately to a critic, accusing him of being “Modern day Nazi scum.”

In a September 28th post, Kasparian branded Israelis collectively as “the new Nazis.”

The “new Nazis” terminology weaponizes the memory of the Holocaust against Israel, equating its citizens with the perpetrators of the extermination of six million Jews during World War II. The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) working definition lists both the myth of Jewish control over government and comparisons of Israeli policy to that of the Nazis as explicit examples of modern-day antisemitism.

In The Young Turks broadcast material published by the Turkish daily Yeni Şafak on August 12, 2025, Kasparian went further, saying to Jews: “You are hated internationally. The whole international community loathes you… It’s because you think you’re God’s chosen people while acting like ‘absolute demons.'”
