The Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) and Ximus Forum hosted a networking reception in Tel Aviv last Thursday for a delegation of African American business leaders who were visiting Israel on a solidarity mission organized by the National Black Empowerment Council (NBEC).
“Our conversations were profound as we shared the common challenges our communities face, discussed how we build sustainable businesses, and explored the values that drive us forward and inspire our leaders,” CAM CEO Sacha Roytman tweeted afterward. “It filled me with immense pride to see Black Americans and Jews united in Israel, passionately discussing how to build an economic shield to protect us from hatred, grounded in our shared values.”
“A special shoutout to Darius Jones, a dear friend and the visionary leader of the National Black Empowerment Council,” Roytman added. “He is truly a force of nature, and his work continues to inspire us all.”
