Bedouin Teens Help Repair Jewish Cemetery in Southern Israel After Vandalism Incident

A group of Bedouin teens helped fix up a Jewish cemetery in the southern Israeli moshav of Nevatim this week after it was vandalized.

According to a Jerusalem Post report, the act of vandalism was filmed and posted on the TikTok social media app.

A day later, Bedouin students from the “Star of the South” school arrived at the cemetery to repair the damage.

Nir Zamir — head of the Bnei Shimon Regional Council — commented, “They showed us that there is another way — we can work together, to strengthen the neighborhood, to work hand in hand for a better Negev for us all.”
