Dozen of female leaders from across the globe gathered in Malta this week for the “Multi-Faith Leadership Summit” hosted by Empower Women Media and the Abraham Women’s Alliance.

Participants in the forum, co-sponsored by the Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM), included government officials, businesswomen, academics, media personalities, NGO professionals, and religious figures.

The program featured a series of speeches, panels, and discussions focused on advancing interfaith collaboration, pluralism and peacebuilding in the Middle East.

CAM was represented at the summit by Director of European Affairs Shannon Seban.

“Interreligious dialogue is not just polite conversation, it’s the foundation of lasting peace,” Seban said. “When Jews, Christians, and Muslims sit together, listen deeply, and share our common Abrahamic heritage, we break down stereotypes and build trust that no political agreement alone can achieve.”

“Antisemitism thrives in silence and ignorance,” she added. “Interreligious dialogue directly counters that by creating safe spaces to address painful histories, challenge misconceptions, and affirm that hatred against one faith community harms us all. It’s a powerful antidote to division.”

“Dialogue doesn’t erase differences, but it turns them into opportunities for collaboration — economic, cultural, educational — and makes antisemitism and other forms of bigotry harder to justify or sustain,” Seban noted. “When faith leaders from across the Abrahamic traditions unite against hate and for peace, we send a clear message that division is not inevitable — cooperation is.”
