Israel’s wine industry is turning one of the world’s most arid regions into a hub of innovation and sustainability.
By blending ancient grape cultivars and traditional farming practices with groundbreaking technologies like drip irrigation and climate monitoring, Israeli winemakers are crafting a sustainable future for viticulture in arid lands.
To highlight the remarkable achievements of Israel’s vineyards, the Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) hosted a unique digital event on Wednesday featuring leading Israeli winemakers and researchers sharing their expert insights.
The discussion was moderated by CAM Director of Community Engagement Shira Granot, and participants included Pinto Winery winemaker Yaakov Uriya, WateRevive Bio-Engineering Founder Yael Ben Zvi, and Dr. Shivi Dror of Ariel University’s Institute of Grape and Wine Research.
