Job Opportunity: CAM Is Hiring an Executive Assistant to President of US Affairs

The Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) is seeking a highly-organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support the President of U.S. Affairs.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing competing priorities, and excels at keeping senior leadership organized and operating efficiently. The Executive Assistant will serve as a trusted partner to the President of U.S. Affairs, helping coordinate daily activities, manage complex scheduling and travel logistics, facilitate communications, and support the execution of key initiatives.

As a growing global organization dedicated to combating antisemitism, CAM operates with a collaborative and mission-driven culture. The Executive Assistant will play a critical role in ensuring the President of U.S. Affairs can effectively engage with elected officials, law enforcement leaders, community partners, faith leaders, donors, and other stakeholders across the country.

Key Responsibilities

Executive and Administrative Support

  • Manage and maintain the President of U.S. Affairs’ calendar, including scheduling meetings, calls, events, and external engagements.
  • Coordinate internal and external communications on behalf of the President.
  • Prioritize and manage competing scheduling requests while ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Coordinate with the CAM CEO Office to support communication, workflow, and collaboration between the CEO and President.
  • Prepare briefing materials, agendas, and meeting notes.
  • Track action items and follow up with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate media appearances and provide timely support to ensure the President’s views and input are shared with the CAM press team.
  • Assist with correspondence, document preparation, presentations, and reports.
  • Arrange domestic and occasional international travel, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and itineraries.
  • Support the day-to-day management of CAM’s Washington, D.C. office, including maintaining office supplies, coordinating administrative needs, preparing and printing materials for meetings and events, and helping ensure the office operates efficiently and professionally.
  • Coordinate logistics for conferences, summits, legislative meetings, speaking engagements, and other events.
  • Manage expense tracking and support reimbursement processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in handling sensitive information.

Stakeholder Engagement, Project and Event Support

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for scheduling and coordination with government officials, law enforcement leaders, partner organizations, community leaders, and other key stakeholders.
  • Help maintain strong relationships through timely communication and follow-up.
  • Support the preparation of briefing materials and background information for high-level meetings and events, such as the law enforcement trainings.
  • Assist in coordinating special projects, campaigns, and strategic initiatives led by the President of U.S. Affairs.
  • Support planning and execution of meetings, briefings, delegations, trainings, and public events.
  • Collaborate across CAM departments to ensure effective coordination and execution of priorities.
  • Help manage timelines, deliverables, and project tracking systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Zoom, and other productivity and messaging tools.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong interest in public affairs, advocacy, nonprofit work, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship, campus leadership, or professional experience in government, public affairs, advocacy, nonprofit, or political environments.
  • Interest in U.S. public policy, Jewish communal affairs, law enforcement engagement, or advocacy work.
  • Experience coordinating events, meetings, student organizations, or other projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage professionally with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.

Reporting Structure

This position, which is located in Washington, D.C., reports directly to the President of U.S. Affairs and works closely with CAM’s executive leadership team, especially the office of the CEO, and staff across departments.
