In recent years, antisemitism worldwide has reached levels not previously seen in the post-World War II era, with the Jewish people being systematically delegitimized in all areas of society, and often targeted in acts of violence.
This disturbing trend has also proliferated across the United States — including in the city of West Hollywood, California, where there have been a string of incidents including swastika vandalism and harassment of Jews by neo-Nazis.
To address this rising threat in West Hollywood, a coalition of organizations is coming together on Thursday, August 25th, at 7 PM (Pacific Time), at Congregation Kol Ami (1200 N. La Brea), for a the Combating Antisemitism Summit, featuring a special townhall discussion on the topics of “Exploring Jewish Identity,” “Confronting Myths and Stereotypes,” and “Defining Antisemitism.”
For more information and FREE registration (advance RSVP is required, as seating is limited), please visit: eventbrite.com/e/combating-antisemitism-summit-west-hollywood-tickets-396924621227
Zoom and livestreaming options will be available, in addition to in-person attendance.
