2020 was a challenging year for the Jewish people and indeed for all of humanity. The pace and severity of anti-Semitic incidents has skyrocketed across the globe, fueled further by conspiracy theories related to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has affected the lives of us all.

This Hanukkah, as the vaccine against the Covid-19 virus is beginning to be distributed, we also hope to succeed in ending the enduring cultural sickness of Jew-hatred. 

Hanukkah is a holiday of miracles, of light, of victory over those who sought the cultural elimination of the Jewish people. Our Hanukkah wish is for the holiday’s miracle to inspire in this generation, a victory over the scourge of anti-Semitism. Together we can flood the world with the miracles of peace, unity and light.
