active campaign
Our partner UN Watch has launched a campaign calling on Hamas to free Rami Aman. Aman is a courageous Gaza peace activist who has disappeared since his arrest by Hamas for making a Zoom call with Israeli peace activists. In April during a two-hour “Skype with your enemy” call via video call on Zoom – participants had discussed their daily lives and expressed hopes for better leadership for both Israelis and Palestinians.
Shortly afterwards, Rami Aman, 36, the founder of the Gaza Youth Committee, was accused by Hamas of “treason” along with five others after speaking to the dozens of Israeli activists online. He was then taken arrested.
