IHRA Working Definition of Antisemitism Adoptions
In recent years, the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) Working Definition of Antisemitism has emerged as the global “gold standard” in the collective effort against rising contemporary Jew-hatred, in all its manifestations.
The definition’s far-reaching impact is rooted in the broad-based consensus that has formed around it, with more than 1,100 entities worldwide adopting or endorsing it as an essential tool to delineate what constitutes prejudiced behavior toward the Jewish people, with the following countries and U.S. states among them.

🇫🇷 In Les Lilas, near Paris, a 13-year-old boy named Sasha was beaten in his building’s hallway after being called a “dirty Jew” by a group of teenagers.
He suffered a head injury and multiple bruises.
His mother said, “We’re hiding again, like in 1940.”
🇮🇹 Italian influencer Cecilia Parodi was convicted of hate speech after saying,
“I hate all Jews, all Israelis.”
She received an 18-month suspended sentence and a fine of over €20,000, including compensation to Holocaust survivor and Senator Liliana Segre, one of her targets.
Antisemitism has consequences.
We’re honored to share a special moment for the Combat Antisemitism Movement,
President Donald J. Trump personally responded to our note of appreciation published in The Jerusalem Post, thanking us for it.
The Jewish lawyer was handcuffed and detained for nearly 10 hours after police claimed his Star of David necklace could “offend” pro-Palestinian protesters.
Arresting a Jew for wearing a star of david is a new low even for the UK.
CAM strongly condemns this disgraceful act of antisemitism.
A Jewish lawyer was arrested in London after police claimed his Star of David necklace could “offend” pro-Palestinian protesters.
He was handcuffed and detained for nearly 10 hours.
The same police force has said that waving jihadist flags at protests is “not an offence.”
These antisemitic double standards are a disgrace for the UK.
We won’t tell you which club we support because today it doesn’t matter. When Jews are banned from attending a match against Aston Villa in an antisemitic decision. 💛💙
History repeats itself, and it hurts. Post it. Share it. #WeAreMaccabi
🇬🇧 UK authorities have banned Maccabi Tel Aviv fans from attending the Europa League match against Aston Villa on November 6, citing “security risks.”
This is the wrong decision.
CAM condemns this discriminatory ban and calls for its immediate reversal.
🇬🇧 Samuel Williams, a 20-year-old University of Oxford student, was arrested on October 15 after being filmed chanting:
“Gaza, Gaza, make us proud, put the Zios in the ground”
during a pro-Palestinian march in London.
Police confirmed he was arrested on suspicion of inciting racial hatred, and Oxford University has suspended him, stating there is “no place for hatred or antisemitism” within its community.
🇪🇸 Pro-Palestinian rioters sparked chaos in Barcelona last night, destroying McDonald’s and Starbucks.
This is becoming ridiculous.
🇧🇪 “Death to the IDF.”
Written on a train in Belgium.
Disgusting.
Suddenly the “Free Palestine” movement is very silent.
Because it was never about Palestinians.
It was about blaming the Jews.
As all the living hostages are finally free,
our partners from every part of the world joined together to share one message:
Welcome back home. 🎗️
Yesterday, after more than 730 days in Hamas captivity, 24 hostages were returned from Gaza. Twenty were alive and four were murdered.
Hamas still holds 24 more hostages, refusing to release them even though it was part of the deal. The return of some was meant to mark an end, but it only reminds us that the mission is not over.
We will not turn the page until every last hostage is home. 🇮🇱
🇮🇱 After two years of pain and darkness, all living hostages have finally been freed from Hamas captivity.
A moment of history.
A moment of tears.
A moment Israel will never forget.
Freedom, at last.
🇮🇱 On behalf of the Combat Antisemitism Movement, we thank President Trump for his bold leadership in securing the ceasefire and working to bring our hostages home.
Your courage, moral clarity, and unwavering support for Israel and the Jewish people have made history.
We also recognize Ambassador Mike Huckabee, Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner for their tireless dedication to this vital mission.
With gratitude and respect.
🇮🇱 Thousands gathered, singing together for the hostages.
A moment beyond words.

Thousands singing, crying, waving flags.
Israel welcomes its hostages home.

🇺🇸 Thousands gathered in Central Park, hopefully for the last time, filled with excitement and hope ahead of the return of all hostages to Israel.
🇮🇹 The Mayor of Reggio Emilia awarded Francesca Albanese, a UN official with a long record of antisemitism and defense of terror.
When he mentioned the Israeli hostages, the crowd shouted “Shame on you!” and Albanese looked displeased.
We sent the Mayor a letter to say exactly what this was: a disgrace.
After two years of unbearable pain, a ray of hope.
The new agreement offers hope for a ceasefire and the return of all 48 hostages.
The families’ tears today carry both relief and fear, hope that this time, it’s real.
Nothing can erase the pain of these two years, but bringing them home will begin the healing.
Two years after October 7, while Israelis mourned their dead, the streets of New York filled with chants of “Global Intifada” and “One solution.”
Hamas and Islamic Jihad flags waved proudly.
Masked crowds glorified murderers and called for the genocide of Jews.
Open support for terror in the heart of America.
What a disgrace.
On the second anniversary of Hamas’s October 7 massacre in Israel, new data from CAM confirms that antisemitism remains at crisis levels worldwide.
What began as a surge of hate after the attacks has only worsened.
It has spread from the streets to classrooms, media, and politics, turning into real acts of violence.
