“All those who believe in human rights, all those who defend human rights, have to be with Israel in these difficult days,” Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) Advisory Board Chair Natan Sharansky said in a video message on Monday. “That is the right side of history.”
Sharansky called Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack on Israel “one of the biggest pogroms” in Jewish history and the “biggest pogrom since the Holocaust.”
“This is a question of our survival,” Sharansky said. “It’s not only an unbelievable violation of our human rights, but an attempt to deny the right of our country to exist.”
“Those who want to kill us, we have no choice but to kill them,” he emphasized. “There is no way for us to exist in this world with these terrorists. We’ll have to win.”
