1. TAKE ACTION: B’NAI B’RITH INTERNATIONAL – ACT AGAINST THE IRANIAN THREAT

By B’nai B’rith International

As the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism, the Iranian government have promoted global instability for decades, posing a serious threat to the security of the US and our allies, including Israel. In 2015, the United Nations Security Council enacted—through Annex B of Resolution 2231—an arms embargo; a travel ban on Iranian individuals and entities associated with Iran’s nuclear, missile and conventional arms programs; and a prohibition on supporting Iran’s ballistic missile program.

Unfortunately, since the resolution’s passage, Iran has maintained support for terrorist organizations, continuing to advance its ballistic missile program and stockpile more enriched uranium. The arms embargo, set to expire in October 2020, must be extended to maintain pressure on the Iranian regime. Urge your senators to support Senate Resolution 509 and call on the U.N. to maintain its arms embargo on Iran. Read Here

Combat Anti-Semitism Movement Director Sacha Roytman-Dratwa stated, “Too often, Jews have been a convenient scapegoat in times of crisis. Sadly, the age of coronavirus is no different. Just as the pandemic has spread, so has the disease of antisemitism, often in its contemporary form of anti-Zionism.” “The best way to combat this is through education,” he noted. “That is why it is so important for as many people as possible to understand that Israel is one of humanity’s greatest assets in overcoming COVID-19.” Read Here

Such theories now have a voice in the U.S. Congress and in national legislatures throughout the world. The campaign to attach Zionism to every injustice has its origins from Stalin’s and remains a vestige in far-left political movements today. Just as traditional anti-Semitism brought ruin and misery, anti-Zionism will corrupt noble movements and worthy causes unless it is finally stamped out.  Read Here

OVER 261,000 INDIVIDUALS AND 250 ORGANIZATIONS HAVE SIGNED OUR PLEDGE.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

“Combat anti-Semitism (CAM) is a non-partisan, global grassroots movement of interfaith individuals and organizations united to combat anti-Semitism. CAM exposes anti-Semitic activity from across the ideological spectrum and highlights those working to fight against its resurgence. One of the most pernicious forms of modern anti-Semitism is the effort to deny and delegitimize the Jewish people’s right to self-determination and their profound historic, religious and cultural connection to their ancestral homeland, Israel. Humanity flourishes when religious, ethnic, and cultural diversity is respected, and we hope to encourage understanding and set an example through our work. Anti-Semitism is the oldest form of bigotry and by working to eliminate it, we hope tragedies like the holocaust or any incidents of hate inspired speech or violence perpetrated against the Jewish people, Israel, or any discriminated group are reduced significantly.”
