CAM Welcomes Trump Administration’s ‘Decisive Actions’ to Hold Harvard Accountable for Failures to Protect Jewish Students

Amid the Trump administration’s efforts to hold Harvard University accountable for its ongoing failures to protect Jewish students, the Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) issued the following statement on Wednesday:

“The Trump administration’s decisive actions to impose consequences on Harvard for its inadequate response to the unchecked spread of antisemitic hatred on its campus are both necessary and justified. Investigations revealed that Harvard ignored its own Antisemitism Advisory Group’s recommendations and refrained from disciplining students involved harassing, intimidating, threatening, and assaulting Jewish peers, potentially violating Title VI of the Civil Rights Act.”

“President Trump is sending a clear and important message that universities must prioritize the safety and well-being of all students and uphold their legal and moral responsibilities if they wish to keep receiving federal funding and tax benefits.”
