Thousands of University Students From Around Globe Expected at The Israel Summit
Thousands of university students from across the world are expected to take part in The Israel Summit, a virtual event running from February 7th to 11th, that will showcase Israeli achievements in the realms of innovation, technology, science, medicine, culture, and sports.
Summit attendees — coming from over 100 schools — will hear from a distinguished lineup of keynote speakers, including Moderna Chief Medical Officer Tal Zaks; CEO of Waze Noam Bardin; Creator and Star of “Fauda” Lior Raz; US Senators Cory Booker and Mitt Romney; Founder of KIND Bars and Guest Shark on “Shark Tank” Daniel Lubetzky; Former Prime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper; CEO of Google Israel Barak Regev; Israeli Ambassador to the US Gilad Erdan; former Israeli Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon; Human Rights Activist Natan Sharansky; Executive Director of the Shoah Foundation Stephen Smith; and Rapper Nissim Black, among others.
On February 9, from 12:00-2:00 PM EST, the summit will feature a Career and Special Opportunities Fair, which will highlight travel, internship and study abroad options in Israel.
More than 50 organizations, including the Combat Anti-Semitism Movement (CAM), are co-sponsoring the summit.
The Israel Summit is a global movement dedicated to shifting the dialogue about Israel on college campuses and building connections between students and the country.
