The Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) publishes a regular feature highlighting “good news” in the fight against the world’s oldest hatred.

‘We Will Dance Again!’: Montana Tucker Leads Dance Initiative in Memory of Nova Festival Massacre

American singer, songwriter, actress, and dancer Montana Tucker released a poignant video — initiated and produced by CAM — featuring survivors of the Nova music festival massacre and Lilach Friedman’s Dance Ensemble.

The performance — dedicated to the memory of the 364 young women and men murdered on October 7th at the festival by Hamas — was a part of the dance project NOVA.

Virginia Summit to Combat Antisemitism Brings Together State Officials to Foster Dialogue, Develop Strategies, and Propose Solutions to Fighting Hate

The CAM-organized two-day Virginia Summit to Combat Antisemitism convened leading decisionmakers and activists from across the state to address common challenges and best practices in the collective effort to combat antisemitism.

Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin addressed the summit and received the CAM Civic Leadership Award for his dedication to fighting antisemitism and religious bigotry of all forms.

‘No Discriminarás’ Traveling Art Exhibit Brings Message Against Hate and Intolerance to Uruguay on Yom HaShoah

CAM’s “No Discriminarás” (“Thou Shall Not Discriminate”) traveling art exhibit was displayed at a Yom HaShoah (Israel’s national Holocaust remembrance day) commemoration event at the Adela Reta National Auditorium in Montevideo, Uruguay.

The gathering, organized by Kehila — Israelite Community of Uruguay with the support of CAM en Español, drew 2,000 attendees, including Acting President of Uruguay Beatriz Argimón, as well as numerous government officials, lawmakers, diplomats (with Israeli Ambassador to Uruguay Michal Hershkovitz among them), community leaders, journalists, and activists of all ages.

In Powerful Senate Floor Speech, Lankford Calls for Passage of Antisemitism Awareness Act, Urges Education Department to Adopt IHRA Definition

U.S. Senator James Lankford (R-OK) spoke on the Senate floor in support of the House-passed Antisemitism Awareness Act (AAA) and urged the Department of Education to consider the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) Working Definition of Antisemitism when enforcing federal anti-discrimination laws.

Senator Lankford — co-chair and co-founder of the Senate Bipartisan Task Force for Combating Antisemitism — called out myths about the IHRA definition and re-affirmed how the AAA would help address antisemitism on college campuses.

African American Business Leaders Network With Israeli Counterparts at Tel Aviv Reception Hosted by CAM

CAM hosted a networking reception in Tel Aviv for a delegation of African American business leaders who were visiting Israel on a solidarity mission organized by the National Black Empowerment Council (NBEC).

“Our conversations were profound as we shared the common challenges our communities face, discussed how we build sustainable businesses, and explored the values that drive us forward and inspire our leaders,” CAM CEO Sacha Roytman tweeted afterward. “It filled me with immense pride to see Black Americans and Jews united in Israel, passionately discussing how to build an economic shield to protect us from hatred, grounded in our shared values.”
