CAM Hispanic Outreach Director Speaks at Regional Meeting of ICEJ National Directors
Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) Director of Hispanic Outreach Shay Salamon took part this week in a regional meeting of International Christian Embassy Jerusalem national directors.
Attendees at Tuesday’s online gathering included representatives from Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, Panama, Argentina, El Salvador, Costa Rica, and Israel.
CAM would like to thank the ICEJ’s Vice President for International Affairs Mojmir Kallus and Spanish Coordinator Claudia Fierro for the invitation.
Salamon presented the work of CAM and the possibilities for collaboration throughout the Americas.
He emphasized the importance of unity in the mission of educating for tolerance and combating antisemitism, and he urged everyone to join CAM’s international coalition.
Salamon noted CAM’s desire to build more bridges between the Evangelical Church, the Jewish people, and the State of Israel.
He also spoke about the first-ever Central American Forum for Israel hosted by CAM earlier this year and a recent follow-up Hanukkah celebration held last week in Washington, D.C., at the residence of the ambassador of the Republic of Guatemala to the United States.
Salamon concluded by quoting the late Zionist visionary A.D. Gordon, saying, “There will be no victory of light over darkness, as long as we do not stand for the simple truth that instead of fighting darkness, we must increase the light.”
