Nearly 6,000 Christian communicators gathered at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas, this week for the annual National Religious Broadcasters Convention (NRB 2025).

The Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) was proud to once again co-sponsor the convention’s “Breakfast to Honor Israel,” which drew a sold-out crowd of almost 400 people.

Other breakfast co-sponsors included the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ) and Magen David Adom.

The focus of the breakfast was solidarity with the State of Israel and Jewish people amid the ongoing aftermath of the October 7th massacre and the global surge of antisemitism it triggered.

The gathering took on added resonance as it coincided with the funerals in Israel of former hostages Shiri, Ariel, and Kfir Bibas — the mother and her two young sons who were brutally seized from their Nir Oz home on October 7th and horrifically murdered in Hamas captivity, with their bodies returned to Israel last week.

In his remarks at the event, CAM Director of Christian Outreach and Engagement EJ Kimball recalled, “Four years ago, I stood in this room and warned that this fight against antisemitism is your fight. One day, you will be targeted just like Jews are being targeted unless we did something to stop it.”

“Unfortunately, that day has come,” he added. “We have seen pro-Hamas protests at the Rockefeller Center tree-lighting ceremony, and protests outside churches on Easter. And in December, a lunatic critically injured two Christian children on the playground at the Feather River Adventist school in California to protest the involvement by the United States in supporting Israel.”

“This is a war of civilization vs. barbarism,” Kimball emphasized. “This evil is real. This evil exists. This evil must be eradicated.”

Kimball went on to urge the audience to, “Increase your coverage of rising antisemitism in this country. Dedicate time every week in your programming so the youth in this country understand the truth of what Israel and the Jewish people face on a daily basis.”

He implored, “Ask yourself if you did enough last year to expose and combat this evil? Resolve right now that next year you will have no doubt that you have done everything in your power to fight this evil.”

Kimball concluded, “We can never be satisfied with yesterday. We must always strive to do more because more needs to be done. When antisemitism rears its ugly head, we need to stand up, speak out, and combat it.”

Keynote remarks were also delivered at the breakfast by Consul General of Israel to the Southwest United States Livia Link-Raviv and Israeli Knesset Member Ohad Tal.

Additionally, the event featured a musical performance by Israeli singer Yair Levi.

CAM has been represented the past six years at the annual NRB conventions and is building a broad base of evangelical Christian support for international efforts to combat antisemitism.

On Monday, at the start of this year’s convention, the NRB Board of Directors approved a series of formal resolutions for 2025, including, among others:

Condemning Global AntisemitismNRB urges Christians to vocally condemn the escalating hostility toward the Jewish people and the nation of Israel, to reject all ideologies of hatred and violent animus, and to advocate peaceful discourse.

Urging Peace in the Middle East and the Return of HostagesNRB calls for the immediate release of the hostages taken by Hamas and calls on all Christians to pray for the spiritual and physical welfare of all in the region and embrace a vision of peace for the Middle East and an end to deadly warfare.
