The winners of the “Breaking Barriers: Life Saving Video Sharing Contest” were honored last Wednesday at a special virtual awards ceremony hosted by the Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) and United Hatzalah.

United Hatzalah CEO Eli Beer congratulated the prize recipients — contest winner Shani Fisher and runners-up Georgia Leatherdale Gilholy and Fitra Wicaksana.

“United Hatzalah is an example of unity — Jews, Muslims, and Christians, from all sectors, are working together hand-in-hand, saving lives of each other,” Beer said.

The ceremony also featured remarks from two United Hatzalah volunteers — Tom Eisenman and Simma Farkas — who shared their experiences saving lives in Israel.

In the contest, participants from across the globe used their creative talents to demonstrate the Jewish people’s steadfast commitment to making the world a better place and highlight the vibrant diversity of Israeli society.

With antisemitism on the rise internationally, the need to confront Jew-hatred and advocate for Israel is more urgent than ever.
