1. ANTI-SEMITISM ALSO DESERVES TO BE CONDEMNED
By BOSTON HERALD EDITORIAL STAFF
Another targeted group in this country must wonder what it will take to address the virulent hatred it’s endured for over a millennium. For some reason, even in this racially sensitive atmosphere, Jews continue to be fair game for bigotry and intolerance. While we can’t quantify the effects of this seemingly blasé attitude toward racism directed at Jews, it can only embolden others who express similar twisted beliefs. We must all categorically insist on zero tolerance for intolerance. Read Here
2. THE REAL PROBLEM ON COLLEGE CAMPUSES IS ZIONOPHOBIA

Anti-Zionism has become more and more mainstream, and more and more acceptable. It’s become a phobia. The most potent expression of this phenomenon is on college campuses, where anti-Zionism is now a flourishing industry with virtually no consequences. If college leaders across the country are hoping to make headway in creating a safe space for pro-Israel students, they must stamp out Zionophobia with the same determination they stamp out other phobias. After all, why should having a Zionist identity make you the only endangered species on your college campus? Read Here
3. ANTI-ZIONISM IS ANTI-SEMITISM
By Ben Yeroushalmi
I believe American Jews- and all people who love freedom and liberty, and understand that anti-Semitism is a cancer that will devour any system that allows it to exist- need to take this battle one step further. Condemnation is reactionary. We need to go on the offensive. The most effective measure to counter the double standard Israel is exposed to is to enable our children- and ourselves- to be proud of our support for Israel. If we, the Jewish People, do not wholeheartedly believe that Israel has a right to exist as a Jewish State in the land of Israel, how can we expect others to hold that belief? To me, Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state is as fundamental as any other aspect of my Judaism. Read Here
4. JEWS AND BLACK AMERICANS SHOULD FIGHT RACISM AND ANTI-SEMITISM TOGETHER
By PAUL PACKER & HERSCHEL WALKER
The bond between Jews and Black Americans has a long and proud history. It is a bond forged through the fires of oppression and shared experience — one that saw Black American soldiers liberate nearly 15,000 Jewish prisoners from the Gunskirchen concentration camp in 1945, and that took Jewish leaders to the front lines of the civil rights movement. Today, when the challenges facing America and the world seem so vast, our two peoples should lean on each other and look to our historical bond for solace and support. Now more than ever, it’s critical that we unite in our mutual fight against the rising tide of racism and anti-Semitism. Read Here

“Combat anti-Semitism (CAM) is a non-partisan, global grassroots movement of interfaith individuals and organizations united to combat anti-Semitism. CAM exposes anti-Semitic activity from across the ideological spectrum and highlights those working to fight against its resurgence. One of the most pernicious forms of modern anti-Semitism is the effort to deny and delegitimize the Jewish people’s right to self-determination and their profound historic, religious and cultural connection to their ancestral homeland, Israel. Humanity flourishes when religious, ethnic, and cultural diversity is respected, and we hope to encourage understanding and set an example through our work. Anti-Semitism is the oldest form of bigotry and by working to eliminate it, we hope tragedies like the holocaust or any incidents of hate inspired speech or violence perpetrated against the Jewish people, Israel, or any discriminated group are reduced significantly.”
