French investigative journalist Nora Bussigny has announced the publication of an Italian-language edition of her award-winning book The New Antisemites: An Undercover Investigation in the Ranks of the Far Left.
Bussigny, a member of CAM’s Advisory Board for Europe, presented the new Italian version at a literary festival in Pordenone on Friday.
She was joined at the event by fellow board member and former French Prime Minister Manuel Valls, who wrote the book’s foreward.
The book’s purpose, Bussigny said, was to “understand how entirely legitimate empathy” toward Palestinians had been “instrumentalized for other purposes.”
“It was deeply disturbing to witness the deafening silence in the face of what happened on October 7th, and in some cases even reactions of joy,” she recalled.
“Today’s anti-imperialist militant front … seeks to destabilize our democratic institutions, and shares this objective with the Muslim Brotherhood,” Bussigny noted. “Israel is the perfect enemy, capable of uniting a very diverse front, just as Orwell described in 1984.”
The daughter of a Moroccan mother and French father, Bussigny is a Sorbonne graduate who has become known over the past decade for her immersive work exposing the rise of antisemitism in France and the intersectionality of radical left, Islamist, and anti-Israel extremism.
“Personally, I fight Islamism because, in reality, its first victims are Muslims themselves,” she said.

Bussigny is published widely in the French media, by outlets such as Le Point, Marianne, and Franc-Tireur, and has been featured in English by The Free Press. She has also authored four books, and The New Antisemites became a bestseller that earned her the prestigious Prix Edgar-Faure for Political Book of the Year in 2025.
