Today marks the one-year anniversary of the deadly attack on the synagogue in Halle, German by far-right extremist Stephan Balliet. Meanwhile, on Monday, the Shore Parkway Jewish Center in Brooklyn was vandalized by Osman Butt. The attacks (along with others in Hamburg and Paris) offer chilling reminders that enhanced security measures are needed to safeguard Jewish communities worldwide.
Despite ongoing physical and ideological attacks on Jews, the week also saw robust action against anti-Semitism across the world.
